Veronica Pana Igube

Veronica Pana Igube is a Lawyer with a specialization in Technology Law. In this field, she focuses on digital rights, technology law and policy development. She currently serves as a Legal and Governance Affairs Analyst at SBM Intelligence, in this role, she focuses on analyzing and advising on legal and governance matters, particularly in the realm of technology and its impact on society. She is the Co-Founded, We Ignite Lives for Greatness Nigeria Initiative (WiLG), a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) focused on promoting and advocating for human and digital rights.

Germán López Ardila

Germán López Ardila is a lawyer, lecturer, and advocate, working on tech policy, AI, and Internet governance. He currently works as Legal and Regulatory Affairs Director of a non-profit the Colombian Chamber of IT and Telecoms (CCIT), and lead its think tank, the ICT Creativity and Analysis Tank (TicTac). He lectures on tech regulation, microeconomics, and legaltech at the Universidad Javeriana and the Universidad Sergio Arboleda in Colombia. He is part of the board of the ISOC’s Youth Standing Group and is one of the Youth Ambassadors for 2023.

Camilo Alfredo Arratia Toledo

Camilo is a digital sociologist specialilzing in global digital inclusion, gender, education, and development studies. He is currently working with InternetBolivia.org Foundation, actively promoting digital rights and diverse solutions to bridge the digital gap in Bolivia and the wider region. Camilo is a former research fellow at Gothenburg's School of Global Studies, Digital Ambassador in Sweden for the Swedish Institute, a SISGP fellow, a Global Swede 2021 awardee, and a consultant for the World Bank – Bolivia.  He holds an MSc.

Jumber “Jubo” Beridzishvili

Jubo leads information literacy projects at ForSet, a data-driven CSO based in Tbilisi. He works in two directions: empowering civil society with open data and providing digital literacy to vulnerable groups of society.

Prior to joining ForSet, Jubo analyzed political influence operations and micro-targeted mis- & disinformation campaigns at ISFED. His research on "TikTok - Emerging Propaganda Ecosystem" marked the first attempt in the country to study pre-election propaganda on TikTok.

In authoritarian regimes, access to information is generally restricted or cut off, and the world has witnessed the weakening of RTI acts globally. The Global South has recently witnessed severe digital authoritarianism. There is perpetual news of RTI activists being harassed, yet they continue to be one of the most effective and impactful ways to obtain information.
