Camilo is a digital sociologist specialilzing in global digital inclusion, gender, education, and development studies. He is currently working with InternetBolivia.org Foundation, actively promoting digital rights and diverse solutions to bridge the digital gap in Bolivia and the wider region. Camilo is a former research fellow at Gothenburg's School of Global Studies, Digital Ambassador in Sweden for the Swedish Institute, a SISGP fellow, a Global Swede 2021 awardee, and a consultant for the World Bank – Bolivia. He holds an MSc. in Global Studies from the University of Gothenburg postgrad degrees in Internet Governance from CETyS and Higher Education from UMSA.
