Clare Muhindo is a passionate Ugandan media and communication professional dedicated to promoting inclusive access to information through digital media. Currently serving as Signpost Manager at the International Rescue Committee, Uganda Programme as Signpost Manager, she leads the pilot of Signpost, a responsive information service providing refugees, asylum seekers and host communities with timely and actionable information to make critical decisions on the issues that matter most to them. As Online Content Producer at the African Centre for Media Excellence, she authored informative articles on media policy and journalists’ rights in Uganda and led training programmes for journalists on digital safety and security. She has been an active member of the Uganda Media Sector Working Group, where she actively participated in discussions related to the media law review by the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance. Her career highlights include working as a journalist at two local newspapers, Daily Monitor and New Vision. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communication from Makerere University in Uganda.
