Mila Bajić is a human rights researcher and advocate who has a special interest in topics of digital human rights, new media, freedom of expression and questions of gender and nationalism. Overall, her area of interest lies at the intersection of analogue and digital spheres, trying to find ways to bridge the divide and find new approaches for action. She is currently working at SHARE Foundation, a Serbian digital human rights organization, where she works on many established and emerging threats online such as the spread of conspiracy theories, hate speech and disinformation, voter manipulation and online privacy and personal data protection. She has participated in a number of advocacy efforts aimed at big technology companies in order to change their approach to users in the Western Balkans and has also been engaged in the campaign to ban biometric mass surveillance on the streets of Belgrade.
